Rehabilitation and Infrastructure of Al Rasheed Regional Road– Gaza Strip
The aim of the project was to rehabilitate, maintain, and develop Al Rasheed Regional Road from North Gaza to Rafah Crossing point. The consultancy services involve, in the Preliminary Stage, Assessment of existing road, review of urban planning issues, preliminary design concepts including soil investigation, site surveys, design calculations and layouts. In the final stage, the consultancy services involve: detailed Design & Tender Documents and reproduction of the required number of drawings and tender documents for tendering purposes.
The consultants prepare profiles for all the roads regardless showing pipe locations with respect to the road surface, the invert level of the pipe, the diameter, the asphalt level, depth, distance, and diameter of manholes, culvert (if required) etc. Slopes for surface storm water drainage and necessary facilities will be also specified and shown in the drawings.
